Packed full of interesting history and geographical information, etymologies, practice quizzes, activities, and even an experience system for you RPG fans, this is by far the best Japanese learning app available. Definitely worth the price.

Memorization is boring, I love to learn the history and reasoning behind a concept and HJ hits on all marks!

its totally worth it. it teaches japanese in the simplest way possible. it has everything!

The app flows very well from lesson to lesson. It is also very engaging. Its almost like having a full online source right in front of you to use. Only con is the lack of practice it provides, but the material is well rounded.

Simply the best app and teaching book out there for a lover of japanese!

Im so impressed with this app. Not only does the way the course is organized make it way more fun and interesting than the usual course youd get in school, but the writing itself is conversational and clear. I cant recommend Human Japanese enough. If you want a way to learn Japanese via app, this is definitely the best.

An excellent text book to aid you in your studies. Just dont think youll learn the language from any one app, alone.

A very good, and gentle, introduction to the Japanese language.

This app is much more interesting and informative than all the Japanese learning books I have taken out. Makes learning fun and addicting. I just had two Japanese exchange students for two weeks and I showed them this app, they said it was amazing as well! I hope to learn enough to speak with them before I see them again in July with the help of this app!

I love these apps ! They really do a great job of teaching, and even if youve already taken Japanese courses, you can learn a few things more !

10/10. In less than 2 weeks, using the app each day, im now able to read hiragana and a bit of katakana without major difficulties. I learn new vocabulary, and more about japanese culture. A must have app. I did all that with the lite version so give it a try, i just bought the full version, the guy deserves my money more than any app ive tried.

I never write reviews for apps, but this one is hands down the best one Ive ever purchased. Try the lite version! Youll see how quickly itll make you progress and UNDERSTAND the language! Have fun with it too, thats what its all about :)

Comprehensive

This is a very easy to understand program which is better than a lot of books and alternative study materials I could find. Great examples are provided and quizzes are offered at the end of each chapter. Navigating is pretty simple also. I have been living in Japan for 6 months now and This has been my most helpful material.
